At Westminster Elks Lodge #2227 on Elk Drive, the parking lot tells the story before you even walk in. On any given weekend you'll find Colorado members trading stories at the bar, RVs parked out back by travelers who drove in from across the country, and a kitchen putting out food that keeps people coming back six weeks at a stretch.

This is one of the bigger lodges you'll find along the Front Range, and members feel it the moment they step inside. The main hall has real square footage, the bartenders learn your name, and the campground has been getting steady upgrades, including fresh gravel, improved sewer hookups, and wider pull-through spaces that RV owners specifically call out in reviews. Space 22 is a favorite for good reason.

The BPOE has been doing this since 1868, and Lodge #2227 carries that tradition into Westminster, CO with genuine warmth. Whether you're a local member or an Elks card-holder rolling through on a road trip, the welcome here is the same: find a seat, order a drink, and stay a while.

What We Offer

The lodge runs a full-service bar that draws members most nights of the week, with a rotating food menu that punches well above typical lodge fare. Friday night fish fry, weekly specials, and occasional banquet events fill the calendar year-round.

The RV campground is a standout feature, open to Elks members traveling through Colorado. Sites vary in size, with larger spaces offering easy slide-out clearance and full hookups including recently upgraded sewer dumps. The camp host manages day-to-day operations and long-term stays are available for members between assignments or in transition.

Beyond the bar and campground, Lodge #2227 hosts charitable fundraisers, youth programs, and community events that put Elks dollars directly back into the Westminster area. Members also get access to the full national network of over 2,000 lodges, meaning your card opens doors from here to the Florida Keys.

"Worst lodge experience in 46 states. Camp host(Sharon) is a slumlord. Let’s permanent residents stay and let it look like a trailer park. While short term and gainfully employed visiting members are harassed and annoyed. The bartender whom we tried for a week to warm up to was just rude to any visiting members. Three different people thanked me for raising issues to the BoD. Won’t be back unless conditions improve. And definitely would not sponsor someone in to this lodge until there are changes."

"The campground has new rocks and is much better, with new sewer dumps. I am in space 22, which is wider, nice! Camphost told me one of the smaller spaces is going to be removed and the center sites are going to be enlarged. That's great 👍"

"This Elks Lodge is very large and awesome. The campground was where's a nice place to stay. I stayed there for six weeks. The lodge is very nice along with the members the bartenders and the food was very good. I highly recommend visiting this Elks Lodge. They have Bingo night which was a lot of fun, karaoke which was fun. They also have a bar size and snooker pool table. I would highly recommend stopping by and having a meal. The stakes were very good. Cheers"
